How about a trip to Dubai / Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
A Brief Summary
Arguably the most transformed location on earth in the last 20-30 years, from sleepy fishing village to thriving tourist hub, Dubai is world-renowned for its mega-high buildings, lavish hotels and abundant opulence. January is the perfect time of year to visit these and many other attractions such as desert safaris and camel rides, Dubai Marina, Atlantis Waterpark, or the Mall of the Emirates and its wealth of restaurants and shops. Dubai isn’t cheap, but if you’re prepared to spend a little money, you’ll never, ever be bored here

About the Weather
Warm, mostly dry, sunny winters, are followed by hot sunny springs across the UAE. Summers here are very hot, totally dry and very sunny, although sandstorms can occur throughout the year, most commonly in summer. Autumn is hot and sunny with very little rain. What rains do occur here come in short, sharp showers, from Dec to Mar and can cause significant disruption given the lack of infrastructure put in place to deal with rain, however this happens 2-3 times a year at most.
