How about a trip to Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) are for all intents and purposes, 2 islands in the very South Easternmost reaches of the Caribbean. Trinidad is by far the larger of the two and the largest island south of Cuba and Puerto Rico, about half the size of Cyprus. These islands are seldom considered by the jet-setting brigade when thinking about trips to this marvellous region of the world, with the likes of Barbados, Jamaica, Cuba, Antigua, St Lucia, Jamaica and Grenada all more popular. But, those that ignore these islands, are missing a real trick, a couple of fabulous little gems in the deep south of the Caribbean.
The island of Tobago contains the beaches and hotels you’d expect to find here, often with their own unique design and architecture not seen elsewhere in the region. There aren’t many swanky 5-star hotels here, with most nestling in the “good” category for pricing, location, quality and service, but on the flip side, there are very few over-priced hotels here which there are elsewhere in the Caribbean, trading off an islands reputation. So when considering a Caribbean vacation, cast your eyes a little farther south and give T&T a go… we think you might just like it more than you think
