About the Weather
From May to August, Riyadh is very hot with rain very rare and sunshine abundant. Temperatures reach 40°c during this time almost every day and frequently exceed 45°c. Nights are very warm, although not as hot as some other coastal cities in the region, but still barely drop below 30°c. September and October are hot and sunny with this being the sunniest time of year with regards to % of possible sunshine, and temperatures reduced from their summer highs, now averaging 33°c. November to April sees Riyadh’s only appreciable rains, although these are by no means guaranteed and the only time of year temperatures are not guaranteed to be above 30°c. The weather is still largely sunny, although less significantly than during the Spring to Autumn period
