How about a trip to Pakistan South
A Brief Summary
Southern Pakistan is chiefly all about the Sindh Region. Yes, the country’s largest region, Balochistan, occupies a large part of southern Pakistan, but it has a distinct lack of infrastructure, little in the way of tourist attractions and is not altogether devoid of the odd insurgency. The Sindh however is home to Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi. A city which is vast in population and size and continues to grow rapidly. A modern, very busy, thriving place with a mixture of tradition and culture, some colonial buildings which have stood the test of time rather well, juxtaposed with skyscrapers and modern financial centres. It’s location on the north edge of the Arabian Sea means it has some huge sandy beaches too, for those looking to escape the bedlam and chaos… albeit bedlam and chaos that you will likely become rather fond of in a strange way.
The other large city in the Sindh is that of Hyderabad. A previously small fishing village is now a thriving commercial and cultural hub of Pakistan with bazaars, fortresses and tombs to delight and impress the visitor, all draped alongside the mighty Indus River.

About the Weather
On the whole, Karachi and southern regions of Pakistan have a hot, very dry and very sunny climate, with moderate humidity. The exception to this is from late June to August when monsoon rains reach southern Pakistan, having traversed their way across India. These rains are highly unpredictable though and some years can see significant flooding during July and August (2022 being a notable example), while other years see no rain at all. During the hottest months, from April to June, sea breezes pick up to cool the heat somewhat. Karachi frequently sees temperatures in excess of 40°c and above 45°c is not uncommon during heatwaves, especially in May. Sunshine levels average 9 hours a day throughout the year, except July and August which average 5 hours a day.
