How about a trip to Netherlands

First and foremost, let’s clarify one thing, The Netherlands and Holland are not the same thing / place. Holland (north and south) are only 2 of the provinces that make up The Netherlands.
So, we have that covered. Secondly, it’s just lovely here. Really, genuinely just a lovely little country. This is not somewhere you’d likely go on holiday to for more than a few days, the country is small, the cities are all very compact and everything you’d realistically want to see and do can be done in a long weekend. But rest assured, it would be a lovely weekend. The canals are beautiful as they traverse their way through the cobbled and narrow streets, lined with cafes, quaint shops, museums and everything else you’d expect to find in a modern European city. You can walk or cycle here in almost complete safety, cars are absolutely 3rd class citizens in the towns here and driving around Amsterdam is nothing short of frustrating, so don’t bother.
Outside the city you’ll have the stunning tulip fields if you’re here in spring, windmills, flat farmland and forests to enjoy. Amsterdam is the heart of The Netherlands and where 80% of the tourists flock to, with not a huge draw from other towns outside of this, most of which are a little more industrialised, but there are some delightful little villages well worth exploring on a day out.
