How about a trip to Malaysia Borneo

On the northwest coast of Borneo lies a large slice of Malaysia, namely the state of Sarawak. Inland here you’ll find jungle. A lot of jungle. Densely forested, difficult to navigate, home to hundreds of species of wildlife and flora, with large rivers and undulating ground making for traversing this region challenging to say the least… but probably very worthwhile if that’s your “thing”.
If that’s not your thing and soft white sand is more you, Sarawak has you covered too. The coastline is littered with long stretches of beach, warm seas and verdant backdrops, making for a very tropical feel to your surroundings. Very few of these beaches however have facilities and services and most are seldom visited, but those that are will make you feel like you’ve found somewhere you’ll be hard pushed to leave!
It’s largest city, Kuching, is a true multicultural delight and a thriving city to visit, with an extraordinary array of food-origins, a large number of ornate temples, great nightlife and street life, and the usual swathe of Asian-esque bazaars and street markets to enjoy
