How about a trip to Israel All
A Brief Summary
Tel Aviv is Israel’s jewel, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a city fast becoming the go-to place in the Middle East for those in search of a new beach-front city that has it all… and Tel Aviv really does have it all. Whether you’re looking for nightlife, luxury accommodation, a more budget-friendly location, enormous squares with countless shops, cafes and restaurants, lively markets selling everything you could wish for and more, or the more historical side of things, from a glut of museums and Roman ruins, to amusement parks and concert venues, Tel Aviv can provide with a real cosmopolitan feel and a vibrancy that few other similarly sized cities in the world can match!
With no desire to get political, or cause uproar, within the region of “central Israel”, the West Bank is being included for purely geographical purposes. That being said, at the time of writing the West Bank is an area of significant political instability and should only be travelled to if absolutely necessary.
The rest of the region, surrounding the holy city of Jerusalem, and Israel’s capital, is a very hilly / mountainous region, and a region of the world where it is almost impossible to escape religion, for good and, not so good, reasons. If you have little interest in religious sites, or in discovering more about a region’s significant historical challenges, then this probably isn’t the place for you, but if these things float your boat, there aren’t many places in the world that deliver this in more convincing and pleasant surroundings than this region of Israel.
The southern regions of this small middle eastern nation are very different from those further north. Their physical appearance is in stark contrast for one, being, to all intents and purposes, almost entirely desert. Secondly, it feels very different. Further north religion and conflict feel close by at times (away from coastal cities like Tel Aviv), whereas here the complete opposite is true. In the very far south, bordering the warm waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, you have the town of Eilat. This is southern Israels answer to Tel Aviv and is a city blessed with endless sunshine, that welcomes tourists who want a mix of nightlife, beaches and diving, all with the chance to top up your tan! There really is very little in the way of large settlements elsewhere in this desert region, (The Negev), but what it lacks in occupied towns, it makes up for in ruins of civilisations and populations of a bygone era rich in trading history and culture, and with nomadic people often wandering between wadis in the search for water.

About the Weather
Much of Israel has a sunnier and warmer than average Mediterranean climate. Summers here are particularly sunny and hot, with rain unknown from late May to early Sep. Humidity is higher on the coast than elsewhere in the country due to the proximity of the Mediterranean Sea, but never oppressively high. Temperatures average 30c in summer, but 40°c is frequently recorded from May to Jul. Autumns are very warm and sunny with only Nov seeing any real rain and higher humidity. Dec to Mar is warm, although with some cool nights. Spring temperatures range from 20°c in Mar to 25°c in May with considerable sunshine and little rain after Mar. Inland higher elevations of the country have similar weather throughout the year, although winters in the hills can be cool, if not cold at times with snow a distinct possibility, although it only lasts a few days a year. Nights in the mountains are cold for 6-months of the year outside the warm summers, but days are often mild, and very warm in summer
