How about a trip to Indonesia South Kalimantan
A Brief Summary
South and west Kalimantan is not somewhere geared up for tourists just yet… in fact, it might be a long time until it is, so unless you’re a truly adventurous type who thrives on discovering new places, new things, new foods and sights seldom seen by western eyes, then elsewhere across Indonesia is better suited to you.
If you’re a true Steve Backshall wannabe and can get yourself to this rather difficult to access place on the western flanks of the island of Borneo, then you’re in for a natural treat! The virgin forests, rivers, swamps and mountains really are unchartered territory for all but the most local of locals. Just make sure you know how to read a compass and find fresh water and shelter… you’re going to need to!
