How about a trip to Greece Aegean Islands

The east of Greece is essentially the core of the Aegean islands, from Lesvos (Lesbos), down to the Cyclade islands of Paros and cross to the eastern Aegean island of Kos. The one thing these islands all have in common, other than being situated in the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea, is that they are all hilly and rugged, regardless of their size, so those with significant walking difficulties may find these islands less than favourable. For those without such difficulties, each island is a little different to the others, and, on the whole the larger the island, the more infrastructure and more options you will have in terms of accommodation, sightseeing and exploring. Some of the smaller islands are quite tricky to get to and will need you to fly into other larger islands and catch a boat across, but these are where you’ll find the real Aegean, the real Greek Island way of life and some fantastically authentic hospitality.. albeit not always with a great deal of English being spoken. The larger islands are easy to get to and have plenty to do, but wherever you go, the sunsets are wonderful, the locals friendly, and the food fantastic!
