The scenery here is stunning, from the mountains of the southern Alps, to the glistening Mediterranean Sea under pale blue skies and the beaches of the mainland and tiny stunning coves on Corsica, this really is everything you imagine it to be and more. It won’t be cheap… nothing here is, but then you’re rubbing tanned shoulders with A-listers and royalty in these parts and what you get is a small sense of how the other half manage to live their lives every day. Away from the glitz, this is a rugged region with some serious hills and terrain, and not one that is quick to travel through… but who’s in a rush, except those arriving to experience everything this wonderous place has to offer, from casinos and world-class restaurants, to “guess the price of that yacht” and “thank you, I’ll have another ice cream”
