How about a trip to France Southeast Coast (Inc Corsica)
A Brief Summary
Nothing says glamour quite like the phrases “Cote d’Azur” or “South of France”. A region made famous by countless celebrities adorning the beautiful coastline around Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez or the beautiful island of Corsica, and with good reason. The scenery here is stunning, from the mountains of the southern Alps, to the glistening Mediterranean Sea under pale blue skies and the beaches of the mainland and tiny stunning coves on Corsica, this really is everything you imagine it to be and more. It won’t be cheap… nothing here is, but then you’re rubbing tanned shoulders with A-listers and royalty in these parts and what you get is a small sense of how the other half manage to live their lives every day. Away from the glitz, this is a rugged region with some serious hills and terrain, and not one that is quick to travel through… but who’s in a rush, except those arriving to experience everything this wonderous place has to offer, from casinos and world-class restaurants, to “guess the price of that yacht” and “thank you, I’ll have another ice cream”

About the Weather
Nice’s weather, located in the more northerly reaches of the Mediterranean, is bright or sunny for most of the year, especially so from late May to early September, when skies are clear and rain is unusual and is indicative of the weather across the southeast of the country and the island of Corsica. Winter weather interchanges days of clear, mild sunshine and colder, rainy weather, often accompanied by winds and choppy seas. Spring and Autumn are mild to warm and relatively sunny with occasional heavy showers. Temperatures range from 13°c in December to February, to 28°c in August. Extremes of cold or heat are uncommon and while the region can experience heatwaves in summer or snowy weather in winter, neither are particularly severe, nor last for more than a couple of days at a time. The months of October and November are by far the wettest, with July and August the driest.
