How about a trip to Ecuador West Coast
A Brief Summary
Western Ecuador is by far the flattest, most easily traversed and most readily accessible region of this country. The land here is primarily agricultural farmland or cattle ranches, with rolling hills and gentle undulations between the large expanses of flat, fertile lands. By far the largest city is the bustling port city of Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city and its main port. It is more of a gateway city rather than a destination in itself, but it does have a long and deep history should you find yourself here for a day or so

About the Weather
Jan to Apr here sees very heavy rain, with torrential downpours common and in El Nino years, flooding across this Western region of the country is significant problem causing travel chaos. May, Jun and Dec are less wet but still see some rain, while Jun to Nov is very dry, often rainless for weeks at a time. Despite the marked difference in rainfall throughout the year, temperatures remain constant at 29-32°c by day and well above 20°c by night. Sunshine levels are also low, or very low throughout the year with only Apr averaging more than 4 hours a days sunshine on average.
