How about a trip to Curacao

Curacao, a constituent country of the kingdom of the Netherlands, is possibly how the majority of people hope all Caribbean islands would be when they visit. It’s small, quiet, clean, friendly and with stunning white, palm-fringed beaches and colourful little towns, there really isn’t much to dislike here. Offshore there are multiple reefs and dive sites for the active amongst you, while on land there are lush hills to explore with small rural communities, pleasant hotels, and a few bars and restaurants. You don’t come to Curacao if you’re looking for wild nightlife or looking to brag to your colleagues at work that you’ve been to “wherever”.. as it’s likely they won’t have a clue where this is. Curacao is somewhere to take life a little easier, but, if the mood takes you, get off your sunbed and do a little exploring or sightseeing in the capital Willemstad.
