How about a trip to Cook Islands
A Brief Summary
The total land area of the Cook Islands is equivalent to half of that of the small European State of Andorra, however, the total area these islands cover, could comfortably swallow Indonesia or Mexico, such are the vast distances between each grouping of islands. They are also one of the most difficult to reach places on earth, being at least 27 hours from the UK and requiring a minimum of 3 flights. The islands themselves are small and volcanic in material, with coral reefs offshore and formed as part of a number of atolls. Some of them are elevated with a jungle core, but most are rocky with sporadic sandy beaches. They are mostly exceptionally sparsely inhabited, with only 2 of the 15 islands having over 1,000 people on them, all of whom are officially and politically New Zealanders, but with an independent Cook Islander status as well. For a rip-roaring adventure holiday with a huge number of things to while away the days.. the Cook Islands aren’t for you, but for a real getaway / honeymoon type of escapism with perhaps some fishing, sailing and diving on offer.. you’d do well to beat it
