How about a trip to Colombia West Coast
A Brief Summary
Western Colombia is a slightly strange region truth be told. It has a long coastline with the Pacific, beautiful undulating hills and some outstanding scenery, but for the most part is quite sparsely populated. Some of this lies in the difficult terrain that has yet to be fully tracked out or developed and some of it most likely lies in the peculiar, and perhaps not so wonderful weather here, which is largely hot, humid and overcast. These conditions haven’t promoted the building of tourist infrastructure and so travelling around here is a little more “old school”, but if that’s what you’re after, and don’t mind the cloud and heat, this could be the place for you

About the Weather
The western regions of Colombia see very consistent, reliably hot temperatures throughout the year, with all months averaging just over 30°c by day. Only the months of Jul and Aug see rain falling on less than 1 in 2 days. These are also the sunniest months of the year, although still only average 6 hours per day, compared to the 5 hours a day throughout the rest of the year when high humidity and frequent thundery showers are the norm.
