How about a trip to Colombia Southeast Rainforest
A Brief Summary
The far south of Colombia is some of the densest, almost impenetrable jungle and rainforest regions on earth. New animal and bird species are found here regularly and the area is widely regarded as one of the planet’s most biodiverse regions and thankfully one that remains pretty much as it would have done thousands of years before… and hopefully will in thousands of years time!

About the Weather
This far-western region of the Amazon basin has a truly equatorial climate. With the exception of the period Jun to Sep, the remainder of the year sees frequent, torrential showers, very high humidity and hot weather without any prolonged periods of extensive sunshine. The Jun to Sep period sees less rain (although still considerable amounts), sunnier weather and slightly reduced humidity levels. Temperatures don’t change throughout the year with average highs of 32°c and lows of 22°c. Temperatures can exceed 40°c on rare occasions at which time it feels exceptionally muggy.
