How about a trip to Colombia North Coast
A Brief Summary
Far from being widely known outside of the country itself, Colombia’s northern coastline is one that borders the Caribbean Sea and is hugely popular with Colombians for their sunshine getaways. Palm-fringed beaches, huge biodiversity and even two snow-capped mountains climbing to well over 5,000m. The 2 largest cities in the region are colourful, atmospheric and tourist-friendly Cartagena and the large port city of Barranquilla. The 2 National Parks of the Region, Sierra Nevada and Tayrona are well worth a visit and it’s an easy region of the country to spend time both utterly horizontal and relaxed on the large wide beaches, but working up a real sweat hiking in the jungles and abundant rainforests.

About the Weather
The southern hemisphere summer months from Dec to Apr in northern Colombia are hot (32°c), very dry and sunny. Humidity is high, but sea breezes take the edge of the heat during the day. The period May to Nov is equally hot by day and by night, but sees more rain and higher humidity, but with continued bright skies, although less sunny than those in summer.
