The Central African Republic (CAF) is one of those countries that really should, and in fact does, have it all! They have a huge wealth in natural resources, from oil, to gold, to diamonds and uranium and large tracks of arable and fertile land between the dense forests, but due to repeated political and very real in-fighting and conflict, they remain one the poorest countries in the world and sadly, at present, there is no end in sight to the plight that has dogged this large and relatively sparsely populated country for decades.
