How about a trip to Brazil Far South
A Brief Summary
The southernmost region of Brazil is more akin to its southerly neighbours, Uruguay and Argentina in many ways, than the rest of the country it belongs to. There is much more rural and agricultural feel to the land here, with huge cattle ranches, a gaucho-esque way of life and a lush and fertile land suitable for crops and other agricultural ways of life. There are a huge number of lakes and rivers in the area and the northern reaches of this area are the southernmost aspects of the huge Pantanal wetlands. The population is found predominantly near the coastal regions, with large ports common and long stretches of beach and coastline bustling in the summer months

About the Weather
The far south of Brazil has a warm winter and hot summer, with temperatures of 20°c from Jun to Aug and 30°c from Dec to Feb. Humidity is high year-round, particularly in the wetter, cooler season, which also sees quite overcast skies and little more than 4 hours sunshine a day. Sunshine amounts peak from Nov to Mar with 7-8 hours sun a day, but still with heavy showers. Temperatures above 35°c can occur during most of the year and lows can drop below 0°c on rare occasions, but only from Jun to Aug
