How about a trip to Benin
A Brief Summary
The south of Benin is slightly flatter than the north and heavily reliant on the rolling hills and soils for production of subsistence crops and exports of palm oils and cotton. It’s main population hubs are around the coastal region and capital Porto Novo. The beaches to the south are often long, wide and sandy, ideal for relaxing on and whiling away the days… if you could find any amenities on them, or even nearby. This area also forms part of the “Slave Coast”, a region rich in the history of one of humanity’s lowest times

About the Weather
Southern Benin remains hot throughout the year with very little deviation from the 32°c daily average in any month. Rainfall levels peak in May and Jun, the latter of which can be very wet with heavy daily downpours and high humidity, often accompanied by squally winds. Sunshine levels are moderate throughout the year, but higher in the driest months from Dec to Feb. Northern Benin has a distinct 2-season climate, both of which see hot weather predominate year-round. From Nov to Mar very little rain falls, skies are clear and humidity levels are low. Apr to Oct sees increased rainfall, slightly lower temperatures (think 29°c compared to 33°c during the day) fewer hours of sunshine and higher humidity. Rainfalls peak from Jun to Sep, with Aug and Sep being noticeably wetter than other months
