How about a trip to Barbados
A Brief Summary
The easternmost of all Caribbean islands, Barbados is a tear-dropped shaped tropical island of lush and heavily forested hills and glistening beaches, of luxury hotels and rocky coves pummelled by the mid-Atlantic waves. It is a windy island with easterly winds a constant factor, however, it is seldom hit by the hurricanes which afflict many of the other Caribbean nations and islands. The east of the island is much more rugged open to the elements than the protected white sand beaches of the western Caribbean-facing coasts, where the majority of hotels and resorts, including several very high-end establishments around St. James’ are to be found, but this area also includes the island’s capital, Bridgetown. A town so-named as a result of early British explorers finding a small bridge constructed over swampland on an uninhabited island… It isn’t a large city, but has everything a tourist to this region could or would ever need to begin their journey, or to explore around for a day or so before doing what you’re most likely to spend your time here doing: Sunbathing!

About the Weather
The easternmost of all Caribbean islands, Barbados has a slightly different climate to the rest of the windward and leeward islands. While hot and humid year-round like other Caribbean islands, Barbados sees considerable sunshine in all months and the heat is moderated by strong easterly winds throughout the year. Its easterly position means that it also falls outside of the main hurricane path and therefore storms directly striking the island are rare events. Rainfall however during the Jun to Dec period is consistently high, although sunshine levels remain high too throughout the year
