How about a trip to Aruba
A Brief Summary
A windswept, southern Caribbean island with the vast majority of the population (Dutch by way of the island being a constituent country within the Netherlands), living in the flat north and west of the island, while the south and east in particular is rocky and hilly, with little in the way of connectivity to other parts of the island. Virtually all tourist activity takes places on the sheltered western side of the island where the majority of the islands beaches are to be found. The beaches here are long, wide, flat and clean and all of them along the touristy region of the island are well catered for in terms of amenities. There isn’t a huge amount of sightseeing to do, other than perhaps a day in the colourful capital, Oranjestad, but if you’re looking for a week or more on a glorious beach, with near-perfect weather year-round, fine food and drinks and plenty of in-hotel activity, head to one of the southernmost Caribbean islands of Aruba!

About the Weather
One of the sunniest islands in the Caribbean, Aruba is largely unaffected by hurricanes and therefore has much sunnier summer months than other islands in the region. The islands are also slightly hotter than other Caribbean islands given their lack of rainfall and high sunshine levels, averaging 33°c by day and 25°c by night. Winds are brisk year-round from the east, moderating the heat. Rainfall is highest during Sep and Oct, but here only falls every few days in the form of heavy showers. Jan to Mar is almost entirely dry leading to an arid landscape not in keeping with Caribbean expectations
