Usually, at this time of year, as we head into the middle of the British autumn, we’d be inclined to recommend the far eastern reaches of Europe, places such as Israel or Lebanon, but sadly at the moment and for the foreseeable future, this wonderful part of the world is very much off limits.  For some true late season warmth and sunshine, perhaps travel a little further, to Jordan, Egypt, Dubai or Oman if you’re heading East and don’t want to fly more than 6-7 hours.  If going west, you can just about make the Carolinas in 7-8 hours where it’s still gloriously warm.  Heading due south, you’ve got the sandy, sun-assured Cape Verde Islands.  But if longer flights are your thing, then head to Trippee’s Home tab and let us do the searching for you.
