How about a trip to Angola
A Brief Summary
A near-desert climate in the south with the cold Benguela current has produced almost unique geographical region here, shared only with its southern neighbour Namibia and parts of South America. The cold south Atlantic waters prevent almost all moisture forming here, meaning the land is dominated by large sand dunes and other sandstone and rocky terrain. Vegetation is very limited, and the area is almost entirely dominated by national parks. Few large settlements are found in the north of the country, with the exception of Angola’s capital city, Luanda, with other towns smaller and concentrated mainly on the coastal strip. The coastal road is flat, long and reasonably paved and connects the majority of the population along this flat landscape. Beaches here are plentiful and stretch for miles, but with little, if any amenities found on the vast majority of them. Areas such as the Miradouro da Lua show some of the diverse landscapes which can be found here

About the Weather
Coastal regions remain very warm to hot, and humid throughout the year, with little rain from May to Nov and predominantly bright skies, although lengthy sunshine isn’t common with early morning coastal fog which can linger into the afternoon during the winter here (Jun – Aug). Mar and Apr see sunshine and showers. In inland and southern regions, temperatures remain warm all year, with little rain, especially to the south which is virtually desert. Ocassional hot periods of over 40°c can occur from Feb to Jun, but seldom last more than a few days
