How about a trip to Tokyo
A Brief Summary
The Japanese have a well-deserved reputation for cleanliness, safety, security and order… but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to have fun, let their hair down and enjoy a very good night out! The benefit of coming to Tokyo in February is the lack of intense humidity, high heat and very real typhoon risks present from May to November. Yes it might be a tad chilly, but it’s almost always dry and sunny in February here… and let’s be honest, you wont be too concerned as long as the taxis / trains are running and able to drop you off at a club, then on to karaoke bar and back to a another club again!

About the Weather
Tokyo’s sunniest time of year is winter, when skies are frequently clear and the city sees minimal rainfall, with its winter precipitation often coming in the way of light snow showers that rarely lie on the ground for long. This is highly indicative of the central belt of Honshu, with the exception of the mountains which see more snow and cooler weather. Spring sees increased rainfall, cloud, humidity and temperatures, reaching the mid 20’s°c by May during the day and 15°c by night. Rainfall from March to October comes in heavy showers lasting a few days at a time, followed by a few days of drier weather. Mid-summer, in July and August can see temperatures of more than 35°c combined with high humidity and light winds, making the weather feel very oppressive. Rainfall peaks in September, during the height of the typhoon season. Japan is hit by typhoons annually and Tokyo and the surrounding regions frequently see these storms pass close by, although direct hits are unusual. When they reach the region the rains are intense and thundery and with high winds and storm surges, often causing flooding and landslides in the surrounding area.
