How about a trip to Bali, Indonesia

Bali, Indonesia

SummaryA Brief Summary

Hot, sunny, dry and windy, with large, clean beaches and warm water… be almost rude not to head to Bali in October. With perfect conditions, perhaps you could try your hand at surfing first thing in the morning after breakfast, then visit some of the local temples, before a well earned early lunch in one of the countless local eateries. Do a bit of air-conditioned shopping to purchase a few nicknacks and other items to remind you of your holiday and end your days watching the sunset with a drink in hand by a hotel pool overlooking the ocean, or possibly listening to the sounds of the jungle in this island paradise.

WeatherAbout the Weather

The southernmost islands of Indonesia have an extreme 2-season climate, with a very wet “summer” season, from November to March and an almost completely dry “winter” season, from May to September. October and April are short transition months between these seasons. Temperatures remain around 31°c throughout the year by day and between 20 and 24°c at night (July and December respectively). Temperatures below 20°c are very rare. It is still relatively bright during the rainest months with 6 hours of sunshine a day between the torrential downpours with the dry months from May to September being almost completely cloudless. During La Nina events, which occur every 5-7 years, the drier, sunnier months do see more rain, but even so, these are still the driest time of year
