The high altitude central plateau of Peru sees temperatures of a consistent 20°c in all months by day with lows ranging from 7°c in Feb and Mar down to 0°c in Jun and Jul, with temperatures below 0°c possible in almost any month. Oct to Mar sees rains frequently, and although not especially heavy, these rains can last for days bringing very overcast and dull weather. Apr to Sep is much drier and sunnier with 7-9 hours sunshine a day compared to 4-6 during the wetter months.
