How about a trip to Costa Rica Central Mountains

Costa Rica Central Mountains Jul

SummaryA Brief Summary

Costa Rica is a country that in recent years has begun to do things a little differently.. And all the better for it. If you’re priority in life is to support people and places that value the environment, then CR should be top of your holiday list. 100% of their energy is derived from renewable sources, huge swathes of the land are protected national parks and the government has strict limits on entrance numbers to a number of critical sites.. many of which are some of the most biodiverse nature reserves or regions of the world. Central Costa Rica is mountainous, volcanic, jungle, rainforest and everything else that makes travelling this region seem daunting. And while its not like a trip down a local a-road, the infrastructure here is some of the best in central America and the scenery is truly stunning, with hiking, rafting, biking, kayaking, trekking and all manner of other things available on tap. Additional to this is the nation’s capital San Jose, one of central America’s golden children of cities. It is safe, friendly, welcoming, charming and enjoyable and feels much more like a southern European city at times than one of central America, whilst still retaining the history and culture of this region
