How about a trip to St. Martin

Sint Maarten (Dutch side) or Saint Martin (French side) of this small Caribbean Island, is probably everything you’d expect from this part of the world. Glorious beaches, lush green backdrops and scenery, warm tropical waters and some very lovely hotels providing holiday makers with great food and a fabulous ambience from which to relax and enjoy their vacations. Unlike most other hilly Caribbean islands, SM is fairly densely populated, with substantial villages in the hills and the obligatory communities adorning the coastline. Depending on your adrenaline levels, there are a range of things to do here, from the very sublime “chore” of lounging by the pool with a good book or meandering through the local shops, to diving, hiking, and waterskiing. For those that really love their aviation and the feel of jet engine fumes wafting across them, head to the world famous Maho Beach… but heed the warnings, they’re there for a reason!
