How about a trip to Puerto Rico
A Brief Summary
Technically an Unincorporated part of the US, Puerto Rico (PR) is a Caribbean melting pot of American, Spanish and a small number of Afro-Caribbean cultures all within the confines of an island the size of Cyprus, many of whom consider themselves true Americans, however, oddities include that while they may have a US passport, they can’t vote in General Elections. Politics aside, this is a country blessed with great beaches, lovely towns, especially that of the Old Town of San Juan, lofty hills, palm forests and a deep and rich history and culture. To ardent James Bond fans, you’ll be saddened to hear you’re unable to visit the huge radio telescope which starred (if a telescope can star!), in Goldeneye, as it collapsed in 2020, although the crater in which it lay, is still visible. Obviously!
