How about a trip to Sweden North

Northern Sweden is very cold, dark and very snowy in winter and have short, but warm, sunny and showery summers. Temperatures above 0°c are very unusual from late Nov to late Feb and often well below -15°c, with temperatures as low as -35°c not unheard of. The winter cold only really relinquishes its grip in late Apr and May, but nights are still cool and although hot weather can reach here in May, temperatures don’t often break through the 20°c mark. Summers average 19°c with some days approaching 30°c, with a good amount of sunshine (in part due to the northerly latitude and very long daylight hours) and heavy, thundery showers. Autumn is short and cool, with a marked drop in sunshine and temperature from early Sep to late Oct.
