How about a trip to Djibouti All
A Brief Summary
Djibouti is a small country located just to the north of the horn of Africa, bordering Somalia, Eritrea and Ethiopia. The country has the smallest population of all those in mainland Africa, and is a desert country primarily, with very little in the way of fresh water, with even inland lakes being heavily saline owing to their geographical position being lower than sea level. The only region with any degree of greenery is the mountainous border region with Ethiopia to the west and south, but even this is limited to winter months. Elsewhere in the barren terrain you’ll find dramatic rock formations, considerable expanses of rocky and sandy terrain and a number of foreign military bases as well as access to a densely packed shipping lane on the gulf of Aden.

About the Weather
Djibouti is a hot, dry and very sunny country throughout the year. Dec to Feb is the only time where daytime temperatures don’t regularly exceed 32°c and by mid-summer 45°c is infrequently reached. Sunshine is extensive throughout the year, reaching maximums in May, before the onset of the very hot summer months, Jun to Aug. Rainfall is scarce year-round, coming in very sporadic showery bursts which can happen in any month, but several months often go by with no rain whatsoever. Dust storms are frequent when winds blow from the Sahara and reduce visibility significantly.
