How about a trip to Chad North
A Brief Summary
The largest area of this already large country is found in the north and occupies around 70% of the country. It is the southern portion of the Sahara desert and makes for a wholly difficult place to live. Sand and rock prevail here and not a great deal else. Nomadic herders do live here from time to time, but in small numbers and at great distances from one another and as a result travelling round this region of Chad is nigh on impossible without exemplary planning and a great deal of local assistance

About the Weather
Warm, dry and sunny winters lead quickly through hot sunny spring into very sunny, very hot summers here. Rainfall is scant and years can pass with very little precipitation. Temperatures range from 19°c in Jan to 39°c in Jun, but highs well into the 40’s°c are common from Mar to Sep. Sandstorms can occur here and when they hit reduce visibility to zero and often last for several days.
