How about a trip to Argentina Eastern Lowlands
A Brief Summary
If you’re entering Argentina from Europe, this is where you’ll arrive and where your adventures begin. Buenos Aires is a vast city in both size and population with everything you could ever want from a huge country capital, from history to architecture, the arts, to sport, incredible nightlife and relaxation. Oh and food. The steaks in particular are truly on another level here, even South African’s tend to confessing their supreme steaks are just not as incredible as the Argentine offering. Away from BA, the hugely popular coastal resorts of La Plata, Mar del Plata and as far south as Bahia Blanca attract tourists in their thousands with wide expansive beaches and fantastic infrastructure to go with your bucket and spades. This is also cattle ranching country, with huge ranches and farms containing thousands of heads of cattle and Gauchos as far as the eye can see on each farm to manage the vast herds. There’s enough to keep you truly occupied in this corner of Argentina alone, but if you really want a true natural phenomenon, you’re only a short flight from Iguazu… the extraordinary falls on the Brazilian border and something you really, really should see!

About the Weather
Argentina’s capital and surrounding region has a humid climate year-round, with hot, sunny summers and mild, bright winters. Temperatures are very similar to those seen in other large southern hemisphere cities, with June to August averaging 17°c and December to February just under 30°c. The city’s wettest months (October to April) are also its sunniest. Rainfall during this time comes in very heavy, thundery downpours once every 2-3 days, often with hail and lightning. Sunshine levels during this time range from 7 to 9 hours a day, peaking in January and nights are warm, averaging 17°c. May to October sees fewer thundery showers and more general rainfall, with skies more overcast. Cold weather can affect the city from the south and brings frosts and occasional snow, although these are often very light and melt within an hour or two.
