A Brief Summary
A small Caribbean island located between Antigua and the British Virgin Islands consisting of palm trees, ice-white beaches, rocky coves and a number of small villages. About the Weather
Hot and humid year-round with a drier and sunnier climate to the more southerly Caribbean islands such as Martinique, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. The drier season from Jan – Jun is longer, drier and sunnier than further south in the Caribbean chain and the wet season sees less rainfall on average. Hurricanes rarely directly impact these islands, but in 2017 a series of devastating storms caused extensive and widespread damage, from which communities recovered slowly over a number of years. Rainfall is at its most intense, between the sunshine, from Jul – Nov. Temperatures seldom rise above 32°c or below 20°c.
