Hot, dry and sunny weather prevails across southern Tunisia for the large part of the year. Only Nov to Apr sees temperatures average below 25°c by day. This is also the only time of year rain realistically can fall, and even then is very light and patchy with only a few heavier showers a year. May to Oct is hot, very dry and very sunny, with 9-12 hours sunshine a day, moderate humidity and temperatures in the mid to high 30’s°c, but frequently exceeding 44°c.
