How about a trip to China South Coast

China’s most tropically-located place, Hainan sees hot and very humid weather all year round. Extreme heat here is virtually unknown with the South China Sea preventing the mainland heat reaching the island. This also ensures the cold weather seen on the mainland gets nowhere near here, with temperatures below 10°c very, very rare. Winters (Dec – Mar) are very warm and dry with bright skies, little rain and moderate winds. Summers are oppressively hot, humid (although less so than winter), wet (sometimes very) and bright, but rarely very sunny. Aug and Sep see the peak of the rains with torrential downpours frequent as the monsoon rains clear away. Typhoons can hit this region and bring very heavy rain and strong winds, often for several days. Temperatures peak from May to Sep at 32°c and drop to an average daytime temperature of 27°c in the cooler winter.
